Project Brief

Client: Waddington Street Centre

Mission Statement and Organisation aims:

" Effective Mental Health Support, Life Skills and Opportunities."

"Working to enable individuals living with established mental health needs to achieve their rightful status as equal, active and valued citizens within their wider community."

Aim of Project: To create a new Corporate logo for Waddington Street Centre.
The logo will appear on all of Waddington Street Centre's publicity material and stationary (website, brochures, financial statements, letter heads etc)

Requirements: The logo may be created in any medium. It must reduce to a scale, suitable to fit onto small documents such as: business cards, leaflets etc. The judging panel will be looking for an image, which is unique, striking and evocative of the organisations aims and values.

* The logo can be in colour but will also need to reproduce effectively in Black and White.
* The logo must be sensitive and inoffensive.
* The logo must be your own, original design and not copied or manipulated from a secondary source (clip art, internet, magazines etc.)
* Text can be incorporated in to the logo if you wish.
* The winning designer must permit Waddington Street Centre to use their logo for the foreseeable future.
* Entrants can submit up to, two designs each.

Project Deadline: Wednesday 31st March 2010
All submissions should be given to Ali Lee, Resource Organiser
The winning logo will be chosen by the Trustee board in April 2010. The winner will receive 50GBP worth of High Street vouchers.

Celebrating Learning Day
The sun was shining, the glorious sound of music cascaded around the building, there was laughter and good conversation, visitors from near and far and a spectacular lunch. All and all May 21st was a rather wonderful day.
